TONI PROSTRAN INTERVIEW 05-01-2010 (source: www.zadarsport.com) Remember the guy who guided Croatia to 3rd place in the 2009 U19 World Championship? OK, he wasn't exactly named MVP like his colleague Mario Delas, but he was clearly the glue guy, the court-leader who at times looked like young Steve Nash while creating all sorts of problems for his opponents. After an extremely intense summer schedule, which also included playing for U18 and U20 Croatian NTs, Toni unfortunately injured himself during preseason play. Today, according to various sources, Toni Prostran has surprisingly decided to leave his hometown team BC Zadar. In these hard moments for him, maybe at the crossing point of his young basketball career, here are a couple of thoughts which he was able to share with us exclusively: "Money wasn't the key factor in making a decision like this. I wasn't satisfied with the amount of minutes that I played during preseason games. I will most likely continue to play for a team in the Adriatic League. I wish www.crohoops.com readers all the best in 2010." We also wish you a little bit of luck in picking which team to play for next Toni. |
